**Settings** has two tabs, **General** and **Accounts**. On the Mac and the iPad it is a row in the sidebar (⌘, on the Mac); on the iPhone it is near the bottom of the list.

## General

Only what lives nowhere else. The version, the release notes and this manual are on **About**; themes and text are on **Style**.

- **Files on this Mac** (Mac only): keep your setup as plain files in a folder you choose. See Files on this Mac (MAC-4).
- **Voice**: the voice that reads replies, its speed, and how listening behaves. See Talking and listening (AS-7).
- **Diagnostics**: recent connection notes, for when something goes wrong. No message content is kept here.

## Accounts

Every account on this device, with how many of its chats need you, and **Join an Organization…** at the end. Choose one to see its details below the list; the open one is marked **Open**. For the account that is open:

- **Signed in**: your name, title, roles, store, the departments you can open and your access. In an organization, **This Session and Signed-in Devices** opens the Vault. In the demo, **Switch Person** lets you pick someone else.
- **Organization**: its name and tagline (when it has one), the config version and when it was published, whether every file and the signature checked out, and **Check for Updates**. Owners and admins also get **Usage**.
- **AI providers**: each AI service your streamlines use, allowed or not, with a switch to change your mind. See What is sent (PR-1).
- **Help**: your organization's support line, when it gave one.
- **Sign Out**, **Leave This Demo** or **Remove from Accounts**, for this account only.

For *On this device*, the details are the free tier: no account, model calls straight to the provider with your key, and **Model Keys and Sign-ins** (in the Vault), and **Streamlines**, which opens the **Library** (adding, importing and editing them).

For an account that is not open you see who you are there, what needs you, its AI provider choices, **Open** followed by its name, to switch to it (nothing is signed out), and the way to leave it. See Your accounts (GS-5).
