Your organization's setup

Where streamlines, brand colors and policies come from, and how a device picks up changes

AD-4For organization adminsAll sections ↓

Everything about your organization in Streamliner (its name, logo and colors, its streamlines, which roles open them, their quick phrases and card designs, and its policies) is one signed setup, published to your organization's account. The app itself holds nothing particular to your organization. The same app serves every organization.

What a device shows

Settings → Accounts → Organization shows the setup the device is using: its version and when it was published, and whether every file and the signature checked out. Check for Updates fetches the newest one now; the app also checks on its own from time to time. A device only uses a setup whose signature checks out.

When a new version arrives, open chats carry on and new ones use the new setup.

Brand and colors

Your organization's name, logo and accent color appear on its sign-in page and throughout the app. Each streamline wears its own color and icon. Each streamline's card is themed in its color, and your organization's own themes are offered under Style. See Appearance (AP-1).

Policies

Among the settings your organization chooses:

  • how long chats are kept on devices;
  • which streamlines are on site only, and which networks count (see On site only streamlines, PR-4);
  • daily limits (see Usage and daily limits, AD-3);
  • which attachments each streamline accepts;
  • how its people sign in.

Changing the setup

Owners and admins can open each streamline, brief, template and form in the Library, change it, and stage the change on their device (LIB-1). Nothing staged is live until it is published as a new signed version: from the app, on an iPhone, iPad or Mac an owner approved (see Publishing from the app, AD-5), or by whoever looks after your organization's account. Members who need a streamline changed ask an owner or admin.

Your organization's own systems remain where the rules live: prices, approvals and limits on what the assistant can do are enforced there, whatever the setup says.
