Sharing by link

Share your organization's streamlines by link, open a link someone shared, and stop sharing

FR-8On this deviceAll sections ↓

If you're an owner or admin of an organization, you can share its streamlines by link: a customer-support streamline for your customers, say, or an account streamline for the businesses you work with. The link belongs to the organization: its page says Shared by and your organization's name, and any of its owners and admins can stop it. Anyone with the link sees what it connects to and what it can do, then gets their own copy. The link is long and hard to guess, and nothing lists it: only people you send it to can open it.

A copy always runs on the recipient's own model key, never your organization's. That's why a link carries what the copy needs to run: the instructions, the servers it connects to and their tool rules. It never carries your organization's model key, roles, members, network rules or budgets, and never anyone's sign-ins or chats.

Making a streamline shareable

A streamline can't be shared until an owner or admin says it may be. Open it in the Library, go to What the assistant reads → Sharing, turn on Can be shared by link, stage it and publish it like any other change. Leave it off for streamlines that should stay inside, like payroll. An organization can also turn sharing off for every streamline.

Open the streamline in the Library and choose Share Link under Share by Link. If something is still needed (the switch above, a publish, a sign-in), the row says what. The first time, and whenever a new version would let more run without a tap, a review shows exactly what becomes public: the instructions, the servers and their sign-ins, which tools run without a tap and which ask first, and what stays with your organization. Choose Share, confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, and the share sheet opens with the link, to send by Messages, Mail or AirDrop. Copy Link copies it instead.

Share Link shares what is published. After you publish a change, choose Share Again to put it on the same link. Share again from the same device you first shared from; for now, another admin can't update your link from their device.

Your own streamlines in On this device aren't shared by link. To share one by link, move it to an organization you own or manage (Move to your organization in its editor). You can still send it as a file (see Sharing and importing streamlines, FR-6).

Tap a link someone sent you, or paste it on Discover under Open a Shared Link. You see what you get: what it connects to, whether you sign in, what runs without asking and what asks you first, and the model. Shared streamlines are Not reviewed by Streamliner: read the page before you get one.

Choose Get to review it and add it to On this device. If you already have it, Replace shows what changes, and anything that would run without your tap is listed first. It uses your own model key from the vault.

Stopping

Discover → Shared by your organization lists every link its owners and admins have shared, who shared each, with Copy Link and Stop Sharing. Any owner or admin can stop any of the organization's links. Each share, update and stop shows in the organization's Activity. Once you stop, the link no longer opens, and nobody new can get it. Copies people already got keep working.

Limits

Up to 25 links per organization, each up to 512 KB and one streamline.
